Fire Risk Assessments & Fire Safety Training

Why do we need to carry out Risk Assessments for Fire?

Fire Safety Legislation underwent a complete overhaul with the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which came into force in October 2006

The Fire Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires the responsible person to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment, produce a policy, develop procedures (particularly with regard to evacuation), provide staff with suitable training, and carry out fire drills. It also states the responsible person must appoint one or more competent persons to assist them. Click here for more detail.

How can we help?

On-site Fire Risk Assessment

We can produce an in depth report detailing recommendations for the risk reduction and the management of fire safety provisions is produced with an action plan to assist in managing any improvements that are necessary and have been identified within the report.

The report is broken down into 15 manageable sections with an action plan indicating realistic time scales for improvements. Click here for full details.

Fire Safety Training

In addition to completing a Fire Risk Assessment, Companies are required to ensure that all persons employed receive instruction and training appropriate to their level of responsibility.
