Gas Safety Training for Cryogenic Gas Users
We have a range of safety training workshops specifically designed to meet the needs of users of cryogenic gases, also commonly (perhaps more correctly) referred to as cryogenic liquids. They give participants a firm understanding of the key safety issues associated with the handling, storage and use of these liquids, which are used in a wide variety of environments including research, laboratory, healthcare and industry.
The training workshop develops risk awareness through the identification of hazards found in everyday situations. Participants will learn about the safety issues relative to their specific roles, together with the steps required to maintain safe working conditions.
An understanding of hazards and the ability to assess risks when working with cryogenic liquids is vital in todays Health and Safety conscious workplace. Our safety training workshops helps to develop these critical skills, as well as helping staff to improve their knowledge and awareness of the cryogenic liquid(s) used within their particular working environment.

Liquid Nitrogen DecantingThis 2 hour Instructor-led workshop provides practical instruction on the correct decanting of liquid nitrogen from a pressure vessel or working flask |

Combined Laboratory & Cryogenic GasesThis workshop is tailored to your needs to provide safety awareness for all personnel who use, handle or store compressed cylinder gases and cryogenic liquids. The workshop can include information on piped systems if required. It can form the foundation for either one, or both, of its associated practical training workshops, or be run in isolation. |

BiosciencesThis workshop is designed for anyone who uses, or is responsible for the safe use of liquid nitrogen in a biosciences environment. This will typically be in a dry or wet store. |
