Gas Safety Training for Universities and Colleges
Our range of safety training workshops, supported by BOC, has been developed from our standard workshops and specifically tailored for the University and College market sector from both a content and cost point of view. There are practical workshops for users of both gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen.
University Connecting Regulators Practical Workshop (click for more info)
Our University Connecting Regulators Practical Workshop gives participants the opportunity to learn how to safely connect regulators to gas cylinders, set them up correctly and test for leaks in a practical environment. The 1½ hour workshop is aimed at lecturers, health and safety officers, managers, supervisors, technicians and students who use gas cylinders and associated equipment in a laboratory or other similar environment.
Please note that prior to attending this workshop all delegates must have received safety awareness training, this is most easily achieved by completing our on-line Using Gas Cylinders Safely within Universities e-learning workshop. University Safe Decanting of Liquid Nitrogen Practical Workshop

Our University Safe Decanting of Liquid Nitrogen Practical Workshop gives participants the opportunity to learn how to safely decant liquid nitrogen in a practical environment. The 1½ hour workshop is aimed at lecturers, health and safety officers, managers, supervisors, technicians and students who use liquid nitrogen and associated equipment in a laboratory or other similar environment.
